Jan was born in 1939 and has been working as ATC noncom officer in Dutch Air Force until retirement in 1994. He is a self-educated painter, cartoonist and musician (jazz and big band trombone player). Married with one son (flying the F16) and 2 grand sons and he lives in Eindhoven.
